Thank you for the thoughtful reply. Someday when you are finished being in the mom business 24/7, we should actually do our scientific study of how moderate and relatively infrequent spanking can actually work to improve conduct and not bring out hereditary anger or other really negative emotions.

I totally agree that you give way less than we all received. Of course, probably when you do get pushed into administering an actual spanking, it probably is comparable to what you felt when you your end was receiving! It is the same hairbrush! You also have three children. A lot of the variables have the same value. Does one of your children stare at the hairbrush while you are lecturing. BTW, do you lecture with slacks and panties or boxers down already?

What earned one of yours the 3+ week ago encounter with the hairbrush? Now that it is history, maybe you might ask whether it was a lapse in memory of what a spanking feels like or what it was that prompted the behavior that earned them their spanking. How did that one rate on the memorability scale?
