 Why is it that shopping trips are so filled with spankable offenses?

I have a hunch: kids' basic needs are boring for kids to shop for. Consider how getting underwear is regarded at gift-giving time? So, the vast majority of shopping trips are not aimed at something fun being purchased for the kids on the trip. So, for kids a shopping trip is BORING! So, as my Sunday School instructors all observed, an idle (read "bored") mind is the Devil's workshop!
