I'm sure I've had this discussion on here before. When I said that she prefers to be spanked I don't mean that she likes to be spanked. We have tried grounding of various sorts and it was not at all effective. It actually led to severe tantrums, worse behavior and boiling resentment on everyone in the family. I guess there is a finality with spanking. What's done is done, punishment given, all is forgiven.
