Very thought provoking Mr. SJ. Your statements have caused me to really dig down deep into my own intentions. You are absolutely correct about my thoughts on disciplining my own DD's. If I remember correctly the two girls I've mentored, or at least mentored with spanking (I've 'mentored' several others without) it was the girls who initiated the discussion.
I would be a liar if I didn't admit that having one of those young women's bare bottoms over my knees wasn't in some way exciting to me. I've spanked them as a duty with the goal of correction in mind, but I have to admit that I anticipate the correction being needed. It's not a lesbian thing and I wouldn't do it if I didn't believe that the result wouldn't be correction of course. But I do have to admit that I do get a tingle of excitement when spanking them, particularly some time afterward.
I don't think they have enjoyed being over my knees and the remaining effects. When I spank I don't believe in a few swats, I leave a lasting impression. I think that is the only way to assure that a lasting lesson is learned, so I don't think that they enjoy it, but I'm kind of new to this so I don't really understand the dynamics of it.
One thing I will tell you is that I would never have sought out such a punishment when I was their age.
