 Well, we haven't received a reply from Candice yet. I'm wondering if I said anything that might have upset her. I certainly didn't mean to.

WRT the maintenance spankings, it is possible that they are sort of a temporary phenomena related to the early adjustment period that every marriage goes through; sort of an establishing of roles and conduct toward each other. If this was mutually agreed to, then it may enhance the drawing closer together. Nothing speaks louder and more earnestly in regard to wifely submission than willingly presenting one's bare bottom for a husband's attention.

May your marriage be long and happy. And, if I've said anything untoward, please forgive an old man.
