Wondering says it quite well.

Your sister may have learned of these practices from the net or some other media. She may be horrified and fascinated at the same time and just "trying it on" so see what it feels like to imagine such things on real people.

Is she otherwise secretive? How does she actually play with her friends? Kids her age try to draw away from parents, that's totally normal. But does she seem to hide activities from you and others?

How's her schoolwork? His it stayed the same as usual or has she become less involved than she usually is?

New friends that seem odd or questionable? Hanging around with older kids? These might, or might not, indicate something odd happening in her life.

I have to be vague because I know so little.

Grace, your sister is very fortunate to have a sister as caring and thoughtful you.
