 MM's point is taken that Maddie is being intentionally procative. However ignoring her is hardly the worst punishment but is realistically the only one available to those of us on this forum. Maddie likes to act up and act out because she knows there are no real repercussions. Its all a game for her. Her behavior and low standards of cleanliness could best be dealt with by a strict disciplinarian who would administer ongoing switchings as needed. But of course Maddie would not risk anything so real when she can fantasize discipline and thereby control it.
