Your thoughtful contemplation has provided you with insights into yourself and perhaps a better understanding of the kind of structure you need in your life.The credit for being profound actually goes to Erich Fromm. In his day he was a highly respected neo-Freudian psychoanalyst who wrote a number of books. One is "Escape from Freedom" where he analyses the sado-masochistic character orientation. Your reflections on your upbringing does indicate that your parents instilled in you a strong moral conscience that internalized their values and teachings. You learned right from wrong and came to believe that wrongful behavior needed to be corrected.Why you fixed on spanking and humiliation to correct such behavior is of course the $64,000 question. Perhaps you recognized that others your age when you were younger had clear, compelling consequences for misbehavior which you did not because your parents were less punitive.Those parents disciplined wrongful acts as should be the case,and as your strong moral conscience told you was what should happen.Why you sexualized such discipline since you were not spanked yourself is indeed curious, but I have communicated with other 'girls' who did the same thing. As to Kailey she appears to have many of the same attributes your parents have and so is positioned to become the parent in your life, taking over for your own parents, whose directional approach to life you require. You as you recognize still require the care and protection you once had with your parents. You are in a real sense Kailey's slave. By definition a slave can't say no and I would venture a guess that you can't say no (because you do not want to)to her discipline and humiliation because you respect her much like you did your parents and feel it is your duty to submit because she imposes the consequences you know you fully deserve and should suffer.
