I'd forgotten all about this till the subject cropped up here. Many years ago, when the kids were very young, I was downstairs alone, and was taking the opportunity to read a spanking mag. Suddenly, I heard my wife come home, so quickly shoved the mag into that day's newspaper.
Next day, were were going out for the evening and engaged our usual babysitter at the time, a pleasant young girl of about 16 or 17, very flirty and outgoing, who had been recommended by friends of ours. When we got home, I thought she looked a bit odd, quieter than usual, even a bit in shock. My wife paid the girl and I got ready to drive her home. On the way out to the car i asked her if anything was wrong. She shook her head. "Come on" I said, "you're not your usual self." "Well" she replied, "it's difficult. There was nothing much on telly so I decided to read the newspaper. There was something unusual tucked inside it." Oh shit, I'd forgotten the magazine.
Then it all came out. She wanted to know all about it, did people really do things like that, and why was I really interested. I said very litle and then she asked if I thought she'd like it and perhaps I should show her one day. I emphatically said no. "What would you do if I told your wife what I saw?" Madness engulfed me. "Are you trying to blackmail me" I asked with pseudo anger. "Call it what you like" she replied. "Right young lady, you've asked for it." There was a quiet country road before we got to hers and it was quite late by then. I pulled into a layby, dragged the girl over my knee (diificult with the steering wheel in the way!) and gave her a number of hefty smacks. She squealed a bit, and was very red faced (I couldn't vouch for anywhere else!) when I threw her back in her seat.
"Still interested?" I asked her. "No, it bloody hurt" "Then we'll say no more about it, eh?" Thankfully she didn't, she babysat for us a few more times and it was never mentioned again. Thank goodness. The risk was to great.
