I may be giving another student a very sound spanking tomorrow. A 22 year old senior who has been visiting for the past three years. She is an extremely bright girl who should be among the top of her class, but she has a propensity to party and procrastinate. She does just barely enough to pass, although she knows that if she put her mind to it she could be an A+ student. She also has a knack for getting herself into trouble.
We had a long frank discussion earlier this week. I tip toed around the subject of how I helped my other student. I first gauged her reaction, then went into the story. She seemed agreeable to it, asked a lot of questions and seemed to confess all of her sins.
She will give me her answer tomorrow morning. If she is agreeable I will start her 'mentoring' tomorrow afternoon.
