Subject: The late Don Baker was successful because he was trained and educated in speech and communications. Simply being enthusiastic about pageantry is not eh same thinbg as knowing how to coach.

[> [> Subject: Absolutely. Also, doing well yourself does not mean you can coach others well. This is classic with great sports players. Just because they are great players does not give them the gift of teaching. I find a lot of girls are opening up their own pageant companies and that's great. But having formal training in speech and communications really is priceless.
