I think it's interesting how Miss Universe has become more and more predictable during the IMG years, while Miss USA has become less and less predictable. Having said that, I think most of the placements at Miss Universe have been deserved and I like all the IMG winners.

[> Subject: In the 90s this would be USA, Venezuela, India, and Colombia. In the 00s are USA, Venezuela, Mexico, PR, Japan, some India and DR. So the only change now is the total absence of India then adding a couple of Asian countries and a little bit of Europe and Africa.

[> Subject: This pageant fan thinks Philippines, Colombia, and Venezuela are dropping with Thailand, Indonesia, and Brazil moving up to crown contenders. Most of it smells of payback though. This is all with capital IMO.

[> Subject: I feel Thailand is the new apple of the eye of IMG in Asia. A crown is in the horizon for the kingdom. While I would love to see them win again, I wish we can see a winner from a non-traditional/sash country, i.e. Botswana 99 or Angola 11.
