It may or may not be true but which pageant would you say seemed the most Fixed to you Mine would be

Miss USA 2003 The Latin theme seemed Favorite toward the winner Susie Castillo

Miss Universe 2001 Puerto Rico Judges, the venue, Puerto Rico was called last and just thrown high scores no way she beat greece in SS Pageant should have been won by Greece!

Any others?

Sure, Denise had the home crowd on her side, and I'm sure MUO was happy with her victory in PR, but I see it more as a tide of support around a strong contestant rather than something that was officially predetermined.

[> [> [> [> Subject: The thing is that Denise Q. never made it to Hollywood despite favorable environment, both for her ethnicity and the look itself. I am not saying that to bash her, simply a reflection on your comment. Denise was on that night, no doubt about it. But as Naomi Cambell said, they were going to put ANOTHER PIN ON THAT GLOBE for Puerto Rico, for being such an amazing host, according to Naomi. I strongly disagree wuth that MU 2001 was an all time low in so many ways, at least ithat year included a lot of gorgeous girls. I would have prefered both Evas or Evelina as winner. Eva E. would have been such a CULT Miss Universe.

[> Subject: The 1987 Miss Universe Pageant or as I call it "The Cecilia Bolocco Show." It was so obvious from the beginning of the pageant. She did nothing at the Miss South America pageant which was shown a few days before the Miss Universe Pageant. She had no personality at Miss South America and didn't seem to be into it. That's why I was so surprised to see a totally different person at Miss Universe. I guess you have more confidence when you know you're going to win!

Patricia Lopez Ruiz was nothing but a spoiled and self-centered little girl who was deceived from the Miss Sudamerica organizers and judges in her native Colombia who made her think erroneously she was the best candidate from the group. I still remember what Miss Chile told the international press after the results in Colombia: "Yo era la mejor" (I was the best one). She was totally correct.

I dont think Denise would have won without the home turf advantage, and both Dayanara and Marc Anthony judging. It looked like it HAD to be her. She was in her homeland so had everything available (designers, stylists, change of looks, director backstage, etc.). She looked AMAZING that night, sp. in gown, but was a very lackluster titleholder.

In countless preceding pageants, the first contestant called into the group is the first to answer the question and so on. I am fine with the military question; I would be fine had Deshauna fairly picked that question out of the “fish bowl.” Unfortunately, as we know, that is not what happened, thus, it no longer became an even playing field.

[> Subject: Everyone says USA 2016 and 2017 for obvious reasons, but I think they were the least obvious fixes because they involved MUO clearly putting it out there that the DT era was done and over with and Paula was going to have to pick winners consistent with IMG's agenda for as long as she wants to keep her six figure paycheck. MUO finally let it be known the pageant is fixed (for those who still chose to believe or at least appear to believe that MUO hasn't been fixing its pageants since 2004). In most recent times, 2011 seemed like a pure fix. Sorry, but I have no idea what would push someone like Leila Lopes to the top. She's a sweet and beautiful girl but just seemed like a lost schoolgirl playing dress up. Coupled with the fact that three Portuguese speaking countries made Top 5 (including a handpicked Miss Portugal who was actually Venezuelan), that whole snoozefest was an homage to BAND who fronted that entire pageant.

[> [> Subject: It was not fixed the franchise has always been for sale since 2004 she was contacted if she wanted to pay for it so she said yes. I have a friend who was called out of a club that day to compete and she was a runner up. Even the current franchise holder Menaye paid for her crown. No announcement of auditions all of a sudden a certain Canadian had won. They only got themselves in trouble in 2015 because a well known model contested and the press gave them attention. That creature Hilda should not have been on the Miss Universe stage. Thank God she fell.

She did not like Yaritza but Yaritza placed high. the judges are not for show most of them are employees of the organisation and she let them sit as judges because they know the girls. Yaritza placed so high becuase the backroom staff found her to be refreshing a black girl who did not make too much drama if you touch her hair and she claimed she was from a humble background and it showed in her character.

As the Philippines director, Cory Quirino had done an amazing job with the franchise and Julia needed to award her with a titleholder. Megan, who was wildly popular was a good opportunity to finally crown a Filipina. Unfortunately, Marine had the misfortune of competing during the same contest. By having Philippines and France finish 1-2, it was a way for Julia to appease the franchise owners. In recent years, I think Julia really wants to crown a French delegate; she waited too long and Universe crowned a French delegate first.

Im not sure if she works for MWO but Megans gown that was designed by Indonesian designers was designed by an Indonesian Royalty and she specifically asked Julia that she wants to dress Megan.. only Megan. So i guess that already showed how much of a favorite Megan was. It must have been a neck to neck with her and Marine but Marine didn't have a fast track win. Megan had 3 Top 5 in fast tracks.

He told me that in his opinion Denisse is the mort beautiful girl he had ever seen. I asked about the other ones and he said they all looked insignificant next to Denisse. He also told me something that I had not thought about but it makes perfect sense. He saw Osmel Sousa talking to several jury members and one guy who was with him was carrying suitcases all the time and one day he saw the content of the suitcases and surprise they were full of $. That is the only possible explanation we can find to MV placing as high as top 4. There are also explanations about the placements of Miss Greece but I rather keep it for myself. The only thing I can say for sure is that he saw all the girls and is convinced with no a singe doubt that Denisse had not one even close to her.. it was for her or for her

[> Subject: Don't you find it suspicious that in 2001 that Puerto Rico and Russia were the only ones called last among their continental groups but everyone else was alphabetical and that Russia placed in 2001 when no way in Hell should she have placed. They told Russia to send Fedorova's runner-up in 2001 and they put her in top 10 to prove to Russia that they can get away with anything because the win was going to Puerto Rico in 2001 and they saved Oxana's win for the next year so that's why she was sent for 2002 and conveniently dethroned so that her runner-up from Panama could take the crown and be the reigning Miss Universe for the next year when Panama hosted in 2003. Oxana was probably in on the whole dethroning too. Miss Universe is like Miss World in the sense that winners and runners-up are all pre-determined.
