The tournament has come to an end and the winner is

Selection
MUO Madness 2018 featured Miss USA/Miss America crossovers. I selected delegates from Miss USA 1980-2017 that met one of the following criteria:
- Made the cut at both Miss USA and Miss America. 10 delegates met this criteria.
- Made the cut at Miss USA but not at Miss America. 19 delegates met this criteria.
- Made the cut at Miss America but not at Miss USA. 12 delegates met this criteria.
Note: The order in which the delegates competed, whether Miss USA first or Miss America first, was not a factor in the selection.

The 41 delegates were divided geographically by their Miss USA state into the four tournament regions as follows:
South - 12 delegates
East - 11 delegates
West - 9 delegates
Midwest- 9 delegates

Seeding
Seeds were based on the result at Miss USA. When an exact placement was not available from the broadcast, an average of the placement range was used.
The first tiebreaker used was Miss America result. The second tiebreaker used was Miss USA date order.

Results (Region and Seed are in brackets for the delegates that were eliminated in the Elite Eight and earlier rounds)
Winner: Beth Hood (South Regional Winner)
Runner Up: Shandi Finnessey (Midwest Regional Winner)
Final Four: Allyn Rose (East Regional Winner), Jessica Hartman (West Regional Winner)
