Just cant use the "USA" on the end of the title unless you are a registered prelim with the state you are in. But no one will turn away your entry fee if you want your local Queen to compete in the state pageant.

[> [> [> [> Subject: Yes, they will from experience. I had one of the largest pageants in my state. We made sure everyone knew we were not a prelim. It was not uncommon for us to have 40-50 contestants. We paid the winners entry to a state USA Pageant if she chose to go. We were threatened with legal action by the state and national pageant because we paid for the entry with a check from our pageant. You cannot make this crap up. I walked away from it and am better for it.
