Subject: Mr USB made sense back in the day when this board was active with lots of regular posters who used registered handles and participated almost daily. Those first 4 or 5 Mr USB contests were a lot of fun mainly because it gave us a chance to know some people who we interacted with daily (whether they won or not): JayBay, ICEMAN, Sucker4SilverGowns, Qban, MoNkayMaN, etc. For whatever reason, the board no longer has that sort of community, so the contest makes less sense: anyone who enters is inevitably going to seem like a "hit and run" candidate because, in a way, we are all "hit and run" posters these days.

I seem to recall there was some drama when Mr. USB was not invited to a party with board regulars in Las Vegas, because it was being hosted by a guy who lost. Poor sportsmanship and a cliqueish attitude is what I remember. Can anyone elaborate on this?
