Apparently Merissa Underwood has taken to social media to speak out against animal agriculture, which is a major part of the economy of Montana.

Needless to say, it's not sitting well with Montanans.

There's even a petition to replace her.

I don't think Merissa Underwood will be replaced, but this experience should serve as a lesson for future state hoppers.

[> Subject: Merrissa seems to be quite a devout vegan. However, she has every right to voice her opinion, being that if she was born & raised in MT or not. With that said, there is a way in which to express your feelings w/o coming across as abrasive & accusatory while representing such a state.

[> Subject: I'm literally eating a hamburger while reading this post. She has the right to say whatever she wants but the SJW routine doesn't resound with as many people as mainstream media tries to make us believe it does.

[> [> Subject: No important social change that has happened over the past century ever sat well with a large portion of the country, from women's right to vote, to civil rights, to same-sex marriage... all of these things were seen by many as a nuisance being pushed by "SJWs." We always talk about titleholders being empowered and having a platform, so good for her for trying to raise awareness, especially in a place where the message may not be popular.

No important social change that has happened over the past century ever sat well with a large portion of the country, from women's right to vote, to civil rights, to same-sex marriage... all of these things were seen by many as a nuisance being pushed by "SJWs." [> [> [> Subject: As a state hopper, Merissa used the Montana USA system for her own personal benefit only to now ruffle feathers based on an idealogy that is more accepted in her state of origin, California. Vegans are everywhere but to condemn a major economic element in the state that is offering her so much is certainly a nuisance not to mention an example of gross ingratitude. She is free to say whatever she wants but the backlash she is facing is her own doing.
