Hey all, does anybody know the title of the music that was played during the Miss USA 2005 pageant? Really want to find the evening gown soundtrack. Thank you!

[> Subject: Extract the music from the YouTube vid. Youíll have to bear with the voice overs but you can still have the music w/out the vid. And, you can pretend to be any one of the girls when they are called out and relive the moment. Iíd personally choose Miss T&T and do a banshee twirl with that mammoth train she lugged around.

[> Subject: Not to take away from your music inquiry, but I've been askng/wondering for a long while what music was used for the 1996 Miss Teen USA outdoor swimsuit shoot at White Sands National Park and what music was used for Miss Venezuela (Eva Ekvall) and Miss India (Celina Jaitley) when they strutted onstage during the swimsuit competition at the 2001 Miss Universe pageant. Both pieces of music seemed to have an echo element in them. Keeping my fingers crossed for either one.

[> [> Subject: I guess I'm not the only one who is obsessed with early 2000s MUO era pageant music?! Loved the music for Venezuela/India SS walk at MU2001. I also loved the Top 10 music of Miss USA 2001. Loved the whole soundtrack of Miss Universe 2002. I also loved Miss Universe 2003's soundtrack, although I know that was Bond.

[> [> Subject: The music used for the 1996 Miss TUSA swimsuit preview at White Sands was a one off. The composer's name was Rick, but it was so long ago I can't remember his last name. I got his name from the MUO and wrote to tell him how much I liked it. Also, it sounded so familiar I was certain I had heard it before, but he assured me he wrote it for that swimsuit preview. Years later I finally realized why sounded so familiar: He used some of the same electronic sounds that David Bowie used on "This Is Not America"! Hope that helps!
