Subject: It's about business and brand building. What is perceived as favoritism is likely about promotion? Who promotes the org the best, who gets the most promotional bang for the buck, who deserves to be featured based on demos and who will keep viewers tuned in the longest??? It's why places like the Philippines place every year. Their viewership is ridiculous. Same thing here some states just have a bigger value. I also agree that its a damn job and the org works with people who play by the rules, contestants and directors. Who wants difficult employees??

In reply to: Curious 's message, "Ok - I have a question. Why does it seem that some of the USA Pageant Directors are favored over other Directors? Please do not say it is because of the size of the pageant because it appears that even the larger pageants are not favored over some of the Southern Directors for USA. My information has come from several former contestants who have quietly complained about favoritism at the National level by State. Does anyone have any inside info? Or is it just happenstance?" on 12:46:40 03/05/20 Thu
