Suddenly, I think Dayanara Torres is probably the nicest Miss Universe. She seems sweet and genuine. I’ve always liked her being a judge.

I’m going to get to know Christie Fichtner more. At least deeper than what I knew of her before knowing she was a Miss USA. Looks-wise, I see her when I think of the Old-school classic Miss USA.

[> Subject: One - Sushmita Sen had a wonderful personality at MU 1994 and appeared more endearing when a clip of her was shown during the 2016 MU pageant in Manila meeting Filipina girls named after her. Two - Though, she was the first American to miss the MU cut, Barbara Peterson always seemed genuine and supportive whenever she returned to Miss USA to either judge, or simply hand Bob Barker his microphone. My soft spot, Apasra Hongsakula, MU 1965. There's a vid showing/explaining that she thought Sue Ann Downey would win and watched her being escorted off as the 2nd RUP in disbelief. Furthermore, she was so cute during the opening of MU 1992, more than Porntip. Porntip is another opposite thread IMO.

[> [> Subject: I forgot about the Phil connection. A lot of them do move to the countries where they were crowned, or in Dayana’s case, passed on their crown. I guess the moment truly is that meaningful to some.
