ie. You wanted both to win and wanted to cry bc one of them wont.

Shelley Hennig and Sonya Balmores.

Shelley is my all time fave Teen ever but Sonya not winning made me so upset.

[> Subject: Two that immediately come to mind. Miss USA 2014, Nia and Audra: loved them both, but I did feel Nia was more polished and the deserving winner. Miss Universe 2015, Pia and Ariadna: This was such a strong Top 2 and I thought either one of them would be a deserving winner, and it was especially heartbreaking that it all got bollixed up by Steve Harvey's "error." And while I'm on a roll, another one is Miss USA 2007, Rachel and Danielle: Loved 'em both.

[> [> Subject: Will never understand everyoneís liking of Audra here. I donít find her attractive at all. I think 2004 is heartbreaking because I really wanted Amanda to win but I knew they just gotta give it to Shandi for trying many times. That was the only reason why I wish she won Universe so that Amanda gets elevated, but that makes Universe 2004 Top 2 an another heartbreak because I loved Jen too. :( Moving on, Amanda went to Earth in 2006 but she gained weight so she didnít get past the SS round.

[> [> Subject: Miss USA 2014 was the absolute most difficult pagant for me HANDS DOWN forever & always. I adored them both, but was so wanting Audra to win the whole thing. She almost did when Nia was 1st RU at Universe. I'm still heartbroken, but like I said, I loved both ladies.

[> Subject: 1998 Wendy Fitzwilliam & Veruska Ramirez. I was definitely Team Wendy, but I liked Veruska as well. Even the judges were split. Both Wendy and Veruska were Glamazons -- they simply don't make 'em like that anymore.

[> [> Subject: I actually prefered Veruska. She had a styling that was a bit influenced by the 80s, so she wasn't the freshest looking delegate but my gosh..she really rocked in all parts of the competition. She also seems likeable while being a total GLAMAZON. I presume both Shawnae and Wendy had a bit if an advantage from previous rounds that their weaker respective answers did nit hurt them that much.

[> [> [> Subject: I remember watching MU 1998 thinking 'don't EVEN let that 80's Dallas star win this'! I was all about Team Wendy. I was so thankful she won because she kind of bomned her final OSQ, due to not quite understanding the question.

[> [> [> [> Subject: And we should mention here that being influenced by the 80s was certainly NOT IN in the late 90s. This also proves she was a very strong delegate and all that patty goo that Osmel tried to impose on her look was actually to her disadvantage.

[> [> Subject: I was Team Wendy, even though I would've been cool with Veruska winning too. Out of the top 10 that year, they were definitely my top 2 since everyone else was so-so with me. That was the year where a bunch of stunners were left out of the semis like Bonaire, Dominican Republic, Hungary and others. All the other contestants seemed genuinely happy for Wendy winning

One of the reasons that pageant was so memorable for me was the way everyone was excited about her win. Miss Ghana nearly knocked her over and Miss USA (Shawnae Jebbia) gave a thumbs up to the judges.

[> Subject: My first favorite final two was Miss Universe in 1975. I wanted so much for Miss Haiti to win the title. I thought she had the most exotic and beautiful face I had ever seen at Miss Universe, and I had been watching the pageant for only five years at that time, since 1970. When Haiti's face came on screen I said wow what a face. Then Finland's face came on screen and I thought she had the face of a Miss Universe. I was torn between the two but happy Finland won. My second final two was MU 1987. I loved Italy's sweet, young, beautiful face, and her personality. I loved Chile's sophistication, elegance and personality. I remember saying to everyone watching with me that I wish both of them could win. I believe Chile was the best choice.

[> [> Subject: To continue: I thought Cecilia was so different at Miss South America and I didn't think she had a chance at Miss Universe. At Miss South America she seemed cold and aloof and didn't smile very much. At Miss Universe she was smiling, blowing kisses, joking, dancing and having a good time. So different than at Miss South America. Another favorite final two was MU 1994. I loved both India and Colombia but very happy India finally won Miss Universe.

[> [> Subject: Really glad to seen 2005 TEEN mentioned: I recently watched the EG portion and Allie and Catherine were both great for different reason; seeing them as the final two and being state director sisters was so awesome. They both have done well for themselves. I had hoped Catherine would try for MISS, but that didn't happen.
