Subject: Interviews with former Miss USAs

You probably already know this, but lately Cheslie has been talking with former Miss USAs on her Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/missusa/)

She recently interviewed Alyssa Campanella, Deshauna Barber, Shanna Moakler, and Tara O'Connor.

They are all worth watching, but the chat with Tara is really interesting. First of all, Tara is completely unrecognizable. And she talks frankly about her reign, including how Miss Universe was not a great experience for her because she was high the whole time. I never warmed up to her as Miss USA, but I really enjoyed this interview and appreciate how candid she has been.

[> Subject: I thought Tara’s win was justifiable though. I know Universe 2012 is still highly debated (Olivia C’s win vs Philippines). Well, I feel for Miss USA, the most, or one of the most, debated years is her year, 2006 and her 1st RU. Because of what happened and what she did, I kind of wished Tamiko Nash had won since I felt she was the stronger delegate, plus she would have saved MUO from all the negative attention it received due to Tara. However, she redeemed herself, and ended on a high note. I even think her Universe performance was fine, even though I liked her style at USA better. Looking back, I’m content she won, and she looks so happy and healthy many years later. I have really loved watching all these interviews, even though I could have done without Deshauna’s gloating again lol.

[> [> [> Subject: Tara was smoking hot. I really think 2006 was the year they wanted a complete bombshell after Chelsea Cooley who was more of a girl next door but that obviously didn't help her at Miss Universe. Tamiko while beautiful didn't have a chance against Tara. Plus I'm pretty sure Trump had a huge crush on Tara.. Sorry/Not sorry
