[> Subject: Madhu Sapre (1992) was well on her way of winning the 1992 Universe title. She gave a remarkable and eloquent answer to the judge’s question and moved into the final three with the highest score among the top 3 . . . then came the final question. Madhu’s provided an honest and candid response and one that she thought was important. Unfortunately, it’s not the most politically correct “world peace” response we have become accustomed to hearing at Miss Universe. I applaud Madhu for being open, honest and, probably said the first thing that came to her head.

[> [> Subject: Michelle McLean may have won with a typical pageant answer but we all know how she started a children's charity in Namibia. If she used some of her Miss Universe prize money to start a children's charity, then that's the ultimate example of putting your money where your mouth is.
