[> [> [> Subject: One of the judge's last names that year was Crook, so that sums it all up! My two favorite memories from this pageant were 1: Debbie Shelton (fresh off her most recent dose of Xanax) rambling on and on about how Oklahoma was a midget and it was unheard of having a pygmy place let alone win prelim SS while a braless Barb Eden attempted to pivot as fast as possible; and 2) Dick Clark during Kelli's Top 10 interview (about flying vs driving) stating how he'd test Kelli on the ground first and then proceeding to say "One quickie"! lol CLICK INSIDE for the video >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
[> [> [> [> Subject: That's beautiful Lorianne Crook, co-host of cable's Crook & Chase. She'd make a grrrreat panelist. Crook & Chase had America's Junior Miss 1999 as a guest & -- after the intro while AJM walked to her seat amid applause -- Lorianne visibly choked back tears. BTW, AJM 99 Sarah Jane Everman went onto a successful Broadway career, dancing in 2010's Promises, Promises revival.
[> [> [> [> Subject: How funny and ironic with the one quickie with Kelly being what she ended up doing in the future. I never noticed how much of a midge Oklahoma was till you see her standing next to the other semifinalists and Lol for the braless Barbara Eden. After watching this video, I never realized how weak the 1991 was, especially when compared to 1990 and 1992 which were some of the strongest years in Miss USA history. Also interesting how 2 future adult stars emerged from this pageant
