[> Subject: Except for 1952 and 1962, I watched all of these crownings live. I liked Alberta in 1972, but knew the time was not right. Kerry Anne was beautiful. 1982 was the “computer error” year with VA being knocked out of the Top 5 and replaced with KY and of course, the whole Odette SS incident. I was good with Karen, though. Shannon was on fire at MUSA, but was lost in that MU field. The contestants loved Michelle. By the time Brooke got to Universe, her name was already being thrown around as a favorite and she did not let down one bit. I never liked Shauntay or Oxana. And Olivia, well, I was surprised, but not disappointed. I have to throw a shout-out to 55 years ago: 1967-Sylvia Hitchcock-She was one of the best MUSA and MU winners ever, imo.

[> [> Subject: Not sure what this has to do with the theme of the post. Was even wondering why 1997 was included as all the other anniversaries were 10 year marks. But because 1997 was mentioned, I listed 1967.
