Date Posted: 13:00:21 01/30/09 Fri WOW dude I am so happy that it is not Duck Season.. WTF!?!?!? He if you want some; then I'll open the Season my damn self. =). I don't know greg personally and if it is the one your thinking about then yea; he needs to get back on his own board. As far as Opinion? I don't know what the hell your refering to? So go beat your gumbs somewhere else, cause your guns aint big enough!! =) lol lol As far as Lamar goes, I think he did Damn well running with ORSCA. Hell he was the first one that had any BALLS to do it, and then Kyle went for it and did DAMN good as well. I am sure we can't see any proof of your no named accomplishments from ORSCA now can we? Didn't think so!! And Justin is just a Plain dedicated Racing BAD-ASS in his own right. I never nor will anyone ever argue that!! From the 1st day he and his father brought that car out to Baytown when they were just playing around, I said they were gonna be as best as they could be in what ever Racing Path the chose, and it was 10.5 racing from there. As for me? hahaha I am a Real Racer. I have had the Glory of owning my own car and have been very competitive 5.50 classes back in the day., But I am sure you don't remember those days cause you probably couldn't afford to get in the gate to watch!!! =) I then Ran Anlgeton Dragway for and decided to sell the car because I was always working at the track and not getting any seat time; so I did sell the car and bought me a sick chopper all while (ENJOYing) Shoeing/Working on all my 4 second friends cars. + in the mean time my driving skills had opened the door to Shoe a low 4 second car, so I really don't think I have to wait on a Jury to decide if I am a real racer or not. You on the other hand need to figure out if you really want Duck Season to OPEN ya no named Keyboard Warrior!!! =) |

Date Posted: 07:43:17 01/30/09 Fri THE QESTION I ASKED TO BONNIE The question I asked to Bonnie after she asked me why I made that post was. If we the otta are guaranteed $6500.00 to race @ Sealy Evadale pine valley and any other track around here why are we going to Dallas for the same race if they have royal purple and big name sponsors ( not that I don’t like the Dallas guys) but if we are taking the other tracks off and replacing them with Dallas why cant we take the sponsorship money that we all ready have and put them together and she tells me that basically we are guaranteed the 6500.00 by her Tracie Larry and john huetell that the sponsors they go out to get if they get enough sponsors to cover the 6500.00 will not have to come out of there pocket and I said well you need to make that clear to everyone because there are some concerned people (racers) that asked me to say something so I did I DID NOT THINK THAT I WAS GOING TO GET MY ASS REEMED BY BONNIE AND HUNG UP ON THEN A CALL BY TRACIE SAYING THE SAME THING No one is beating up you girls we just wanted too know what the deal was and I think yawl do a great job but stop wearing your feelings on your sleeve You cant chew some one a new ass every time they ask a question Or call them every time they make a post to stir some shit you want hits on the board here you go you got it You want a show you say wheelie bars are safety well lets give the spectators a show put a limit on how long the bars are and how low they get set and lets race just like the NMCA back in the day use them for safety not training wheels to run over the small time guys and make them race for less money then the faster cars No body is trying to run you off bonnie and Tracie I like you guys but the chew your ass out attitude sux Oh and Tracie its not evil ken evil shit its just PLAIN TALLENT |

Date Posted: 07:27:55 01/30/09 Fri PERHAPS TO KEEP BEATING A DEAD HORSE IS THE ATTITUDE THAT SUCKS. IT IS WHAT IT IS AND IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE LENGTH, HEIGHT, WEIGHT WHATEVER THAN STOP WHINNING TO US AND GET IT SOME ONE IN YOUR GROUP TO MONITER THESE CHANGES OR FOR GODSAKE IF SOME ONE IS AN INCH OR OUNCE OFF THAN THEY WILL BE CALLED A CHEATER BY SOME CRY BABY. YES IN THE MEETING WE DID EXPLAIN ABOUT THE PURSE. BUT SOME PEOPLE WANTED TO KEEP BEATING THE ISSUE ABOUT THE WHEELIE BARS SO MAY NOTHING ELSE WAS HEARD. THE PURSE IS PAID BY BONNIE AND I. IF WE WERE TO COME UP SHORT THAN MR HUTTEL AND LARRY STEP UP AND OFFER TO HELP SO THAT WE CAN CONTINUE ON. LAST YEAR WE LOST MONEY AND ALL OF YOU STILL GOT PAID. YET WE THOUGHT THAT IT WAS WORTH ONE MORE TRY FOR PEOPLE SUCH AS YOURSELF DUSTIN. YET YOU ARE TAKING POLES AND TALKING BEHIND OUR BACKS. FINE!!! IT IS WHAT IT IS. IF PEOPLE HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PURSE I WILL BE HAPPY TO EXPLAIN. BUT YOU ALREADY KNEW HOW IT WORKED. ROYAL PURPLE IS NOT A SPONSOR FOR OTTA THEY ARE THE FUEL ALTEREDS SPONSOR. THEY ARE JUST PAYING THE FEE THAT OTTA DEMANDS TO RUN. SHE TOLD THEM THAT YALL WOULD NOT COME FOR LESS THAN 6500.00 AS WE AGREED I THOUGHT IN THE MEETING. MAYBE THINGS DON'T GET EXPLAINED AS THE SHOULD. IT WAS EXPLAINED IN THE MEETING AND IF IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN FOCUSED ON WHEELIE BARS MAYBE YOU WOULD HAVE HEARD AND EVERYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER COULD HAVE HEARD TOOO. DUSTIN YOU ARE GETTING CHEWED OUT ON THE PHONE BECAUSE WE HAD THE SAME ISSUES LAST YEAR ABOUT THE MONEY AND BONNIE AND I HAD TO DEFEND OURSELVES TO PEOPLE THAT DIDN'T LIFT A FINGER TO HELP JUST COMPLAIN. SO LOOKS LIKE SAME ISSUES DIFFERENT YEAR TO ME. |

| Subject: RPM - Who's in this months Issue | |
|
Author: Bonnie [Edit] |
Date Posted: 21:34:47 01/22/09 Thu ![]() By Bonnie_Webb Who's in this issue of RPM Magazine? January 16, 2009 "The new mag is killer! Absolutely incredible!", exclaimed the first number of people to pre-screen the now printed "New" RPM Magazine 2009 Issue 1. "Our first-ever full gloss issue is now printed and on it's way to our distribution warehouses across USA and Canada," stated an excited RPM Editor-In Chief, Chris Biro. "And, as we are the only magazine of our kind to be truly international, we complete our overseas mailings (to 18 countries) in-house, in order to meet the stringent requirements of each country's postal services." Readers in USA and Canada will see RPM start filtering through next week, and the rest of the world by the 26th of the month. "We have certainly reached a new level with this magazine, and we are all very proud," continued Biro. "This was a difficult project to manage due to the fact that every aspect of the magazine is different. From resolutions, sizing, formats and color management, we basically had to start from scratch! We approached every step with a postive but cautious attitude. But it is all good. We had a meeting with our Print Co-ordination Team yesterday and got "TWO THUMBS UP", so now, the sky is the limit". RPM Magazine has alway been a unique format, pioneering the "60/40 split" outlook on presenting the world's top-rated magazine focused solely on a particular niche market within the sport of drag racing (fast doorslammers). "I call it the RPM 60/40 split," says Biro. "You see, most every magazine out there is a 40/60 split, meaning they have 40% articles and 60% (or more) ads. Almost 10 years ago our vision at RPM, instead of being happy to copy existing formats, was to do the exact opposite of most others. We felt that if we could present a top-quality, professional product with 60%, or even 70% editorial content and 40% advertising the magazine would be that much more appreciated by readers... and it has been! By doing this, the reader gets as much actual editorial/article reading as would be in a magazine 20 or 30 pages larger. Also, in doing so, we pledged from the very start to always add more pages to maintain that 60/40 split, and that is exactly what we will be doing yet again starting next issue. RPM Magazine IS 10 Years Strong!" So then, who is in this issue of RPM Magazine? We are getting a lot of media coverage and matching atire looks good in print. Only 3 crew members will be allowed at the starting line. The Ambulance is behind the starting line - He needs to see what is going on down that track. If a car is in trouble he needs to be able to get to the car. If you are blocking his view or in his way and we have to tell you to move then you are creating danger for the car and driver. Please keep the starting line clear during all the events. |

Date Posted: 10:58:07 01/22/09 Thu I know that now this is posted the Wheelie bar issue will be attacked AGAIN... Please understand that we did not give the racers or the committee the opertunity to change the allowance of the bars nor did we allow them to add weight for running them. I understand that this is different from ORSCA, however the rule in ORSCA came in many years ago and the cars were not running 4.60 at that time. I feel very strongly about it being a safty factor and as the old saying says (better safe than sorry). I do not want to wait until someone gets hurt and then question that we should not have made that decision. ENOUGH SAID! Outlaw True Ten's 1. Ride Height on Front-end - minimum of 4in 2. | Subject: Working on a Spectator count. Lets hear some ideas.
|
Author: coach [Edit] |
Date Posted: 12:05:58 01/20/09 Tue We got a new President in office now,so we got that behind us. Now is the time we need to start on working together and bringing ideas to getting our spectator count up. We brush this in the meeting. But voices can be heard and read here on the message board. I feel that when we all work together we can keep the cost down, by everyone doing there part. Spectators are the major source of our racing, it determines the growth of the class and purse income to the racers and the tracks where we race at. Sponsorship to the website is a good start to bring in some income to the venue to keep it going. We need excitement to the website, this will get our spectator count up. Pictures, gossip, video's,and keeping it real. Bonnie and Tracie does need help, to keep things rolling for us. So if we can give a little, that will help to get a lot done for the future of our venue. We got big name guys in our classes, but we are all still called O.T.T.A. backed by High Velocity Impact Racing. |

THE REALLY GOOD THING WAS THAT MOST OF THE RACERS WERE MORE INTERESTED IN WHAT COULD BE DONE TO MAKE THE ORGANIZATION BETTER THAN THEIR OWN PERSONAL ISSUE, EVEN THOUGH THEIR WAS STILL SOME OF THAT AS YOU MIGHT EXPECT. MOST OF THE ISSUES WERE TO MAKE THE FIELD CLOSER AND MORE COMPETATIVE. OUTLAW CARS ARE ALLOWED AS LONG AS THEY MAKE WEIGHT, RUN A POWERGLIDE, AND TRUE TEN TIRES. ANOTHER 100#S FOR SMALL BLOCKS AND CONVENTIONAL HEADED BIG BLOCKS, WHICH WILL HOPEFULLY MAKE THEM MORE COMPETATIVE AND THE SECOND CHANCE RACE. SHOULD GROW OUR ORGANIZATION AND INCREASE CAR COUNTS WITHOUT TURNING IT IN TO AN INDEX RACE. THANKS TO BONNIE AND TRACIE FOR PROMOTING AND GIVING US A VENUE TO RACE. THATS WHAT MOST OF US WANT, BECAUSE I DONT SEE ANYONE MAKING A LIVING OUT OF THIS. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE WE WILL RACE THIS YEAR AND IF WE CAN KEEP OUR JUNK TOGETHER WE WILL MAKE EVERY RACE. |

I would like some to explain WHY? The extra wieght may get me closer to the faster guys in compution, AND NOT REDUCED TO RACING THE SECOND FASTES GUYS! Wheelie bars are not allowed. Stock firewall must be retained and in stock location. Date Posted: 05:11:16 12/23/08 Tue Ok here is an idea, let's have a meeting with anyone who made a round last year. If you made a round, you have a vote. This vote would only be for the "drivers" that went a round in eliminations (after all, we did pay our OTTA dues in money and racing). My vote would be on adopting ORSCA rules, which is the biggest and longest lasting organization in outlaw racing. [THIS IS FOR ONE REASON] People, quit thinking of yourselves and let's think of what is better for OTTA. And by the way, ORSCA rules have no wheelie bars for 2009. |
| [> Subject: Hey Bryan, I am only a crew cheif and I respect your idea, but would it not be fair for those guys who didn't go to the eliminations not to be able to vote on rules? After all; didn't all the OTTA guys pay their dues last year? = ) Also I thought Bonnie talked to Szabo and he said ORSCA was allowing Wheelie Bars in 09.. I know my opinion don't mean squat, but I figured I would voice it anyways = ) hehehe | |

| [> Subject: Hahaha = ) It's not my car, it's Kenjo's. I just work on it.. lol lol lol = ) And I aint saying a damn thing!!!! GOD only knows Joe would come over here and Block me.. hehehe ;) Oh yea,, I never said anything about the top 3. No names were ever mentioned and the post really went across the Board; not to just one or two guys.. | |

Date Posted: 09:21:10 12/22/08 Mon I know everyone is getting ready for the holidays but we realy need to start thinking if changes are in order, before we have A meeting. My suggestions are to start and try to tighten the class back up.My thoughts are to loose the wheelie bars ,limit traction controls, and to only have one power adder. This is just what I think will keep this class together, and keeps some of the smaller budget operations within a mile of others.Im up for any suggestions to help keep this class going in a positive direction for 2009 and to keep it from being just A cuople cars that are competitive.Remember wihout A class our cars are perfectly useless,or we have to travel hundreds of miles to race.So keep all this in mind and make decisions that are better for the class not just our individual gains.Have A great holidays and see you in 2009. |

| Subject: Ok I have been getting a lot of calls from racers asking my opinion on HMP wanting us to come back and race our TT5 race at there track I think it would be a great idea however I think we need to race as a committee not split the racers up we should race as the OTTA not 2 separate points series we have proven with Bonnie and Tracie’s help that we are worth 5k for one race hell we are actually worth 6500 a race if you include the second chance race if Bonnie and Tracie can present our class and HRP, EVADALE, and ANGLETON can pay that amount so can any other track so I think we should have a meeting and consider the facts and race as a committee | |

Author: Mikie [Edit] |
Date Posted: 10:01:31 11/28/08 Fri I was just reviewing the rules for TT5 and noticed that small blocks are at 2800lb and big blocks are at 3200lb. There is no delineation about power adders. Does this mean any small block set up, turbo, blower, nitrous, etc... can weigh 2800? They told me at the Sept race i had to weigh 3200, sbf single turbo. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving to all -Mikie |

This is about a 5 hr drive from Houston near Corpus. Track is willing to pay the full 4000.00 purse + your tech card on 100.00 per car which would give you the full 5000.00 purse, but wants me to guarantee that 10 cars will show up. http://www.edinburgracetrack.com/ Edinburg International Racetrack 15920 North Highway 281 Edinburg , Texas 78541 (956) 318-0355 Edinburg International Racetrack is the only sanction 1/4-mile drag strip south of San Antonio. Located 9 miles north of Edinburg on Highway 281, the track not only serves the entire Rio Grande Valley but also Corpus Christi, Laredo, and Northern Mexico. |

I was just tying to make a point on the Ultimate street site they are bitching about me saying that is "Not all about Bonnie" my point is that I have all these cars that are not legal in any of the races that I promote. If I thought it was all about me then wouldn't I have a set of rules that make at least one of our cars fit the rules. And to tell me I don't know about spending money on a car was the biggest stupid remark I have ever heard. But Chad if blue is important to you the I not only have the blue Xtreem 10.5 car painted blue but the new True 10 that Dustin just painted is Blue.... So maybe we can work something out. I am ready to get back to being a part of the racing sceen (lol).

Date Posted: 10:40:17 11/22/08 Sat u sure talk differnt on this message board than u talk on ultimate streets site...coach should tell u to kiss his ass..actually so should all the racers...u r another joe golden. without the racers what the hell would u promote...that what i thought.NOTHING. u cant shit on people and expect them to come to your races...of course u cant make everyone happy, but if u have rules follow them, if u r not going to follow the rules then dont have any. joes shitty attitude to racers and changing the rules at each race (cause he can) has got him no racers and u r headed in the same direction...these guys have as much in there cars as spend on houses and you call it "petty drama", u must think u are something. where is your car and how much have u spent on it, 50k, 100k, thats what i thought...nada if u werent like joe u wouldny have to be telling the racers, "Ok all you racers. We are having Sponsors viewing our boards. Let's talk drag racing... Lots of drag racing. Let's keep it positive and fun...Lets show the sponsors that we are worthy of there funds.. Let's all have fun. Who's gonna do what next year?
