found this by chance doing a search for another Dave,I was stationed with Dave in the 2/48 4.2 mortar platoon at coleman kaserne Gelnhausen,this past summer had a reunion with some of the guys there with us,also this past year finally in contact with Bob Rose who was a drummer for the band while stationed there.we visited Bob at his home just before xmas,Bob had a stroke a few years ago and is confined to a wheel chair.we plan to have reunions every couple years and expand our search for good friends we served with.sorry to hear about Daves passing,thoughts and prayers with him and his family.I am located in New Jersey,Sincerely Dennis
