I think if you're a film student and your using a monk sound track for your film, providing it's not a commercial venture, why not use it. If you're not using the sound track for your own monetary gain, I believe the monks would be happy to be one of your contributors. We are always happy to see someone else happy with our music. If you would, please mention us in the credits. Are you going to send me a DVD when it's done? My son is a film student too. He just began working on his first two hour feature film. I know his is going to contain lots of anxiety, fear, and scenes that make you say, "Huh?" I wish you success.
