Yes, Nick put this neat little vinyl record out on NODAK. For those who haven't heard Jim play/sing you better get one of these. Jim is well known in the North Country and is a jewel of a guy - plus his song/s hit home. What you hear on the NODAK release is a very small tip of the Jim Miller iceberg. We recently remastered a recording I made of a group he formed called Known Only Locally in the late 70s and it brought back his great early songs. More recently, he's been doing blues with a great 3 and sometimes 4 piece band plus he has a very cool solo act full of vintage Jim Miller songs. He's great. Period. Start with the NODAK release and see if you aren't convinced. If you are and want to hear more of him, say so on this website and I'll make sure we find the path to get you to him.
