I remember the early 1980s band called The Monks very well. In fact, when I started hearing about The Monks (US) I had the two confused until I heard BMT.
The Monks (UK) released one album--that I know of--entitled BAD HABITS. The cover was a picture of a nun caught in the act of pulling up a stocking, as I recall. The music and attitude were very reminiscient of the 5 upstart americans, with song titles like "Skylab" and "Nice Legs (Shame About Your Face)."
I wouldn't mind having a copy of that of my own. Imagine the two Monks--US and UK--sharing shelf space. The brain boggles and boils over....
