Thank you for your information. It indicates that you are trying to play fair. But the contract you may have signed with Cavestomp is fraudulent and illegal.

Cavestomp played a bait and switch on us when they tried to have us sign a contract, giving us nothing, just hours before we were to go on stage in NYC. Weiss swore that it was a mistake and a new contract was drawn up with the proper conditions agreed upon with our lawyer, at Bug Music. This contract requires Cavestomp to honor certain commitments, including sharing licensing rights and subsidiery rights. They haven't done that and in fact must have sent you a bogus contract. One of the odd things was they even claimed the money they paid us for appearing in NYC was really money for making a recording with them. Maybe you should talk to Jerod Gunsberg of Telegraph Co. who put up the major share of the money to have us play there and who himself got screwed.

There are two people who seem to play off each other, divulging false information and acting as if they don't know each other. They are the managers of Cavestomp and they claim they don't do business with each other, accusing the other to be a dangerous crook. That way we can't discover who is responsible for what.

About a monk writing something for the liner notes for Munster - I'm unaware that any one of us has agreed to do that. As far as I know none of us knew about Munster until, it was brought to our attention that Cavestomp had fraudulently made a deal to license the NYC recording. Which monk is writing liner notes?

Our attorney is watching the deal as well as Bug Music who administers our publishing rights. One problem with these kind of people is that they always fly under the radar screen, making it expensive to retrieve the money they steal. How much money did you give Cavestomp? In their contract with us, they are supposed to report these things.

I suggest you email the monk webmaster so we can have a private dialogue and also that you contact David Hirshland of Bug Music, to discuss it in the legally accepted manner.
