I see you answered your own question, but I'm glad you wrote anyway....Dr. Explosion were AMAZING at Cavestomp last fall. They didn't get a soundcheck, because the bass player was arriving on a later flight.....so the two of them came in, in their street clothes......really unassuming, quiet guys. Then the bass player arrives, literally as they were about to go onstage....unzips his gig bag....and then, from nowhere, the little guitarist/singer comes LEAPING past me, wearing that kilt, hits the stage, and BOOM! I really didn't think that any more gtr/bass/dms combos were gonna impress me much these days....but Dr. Explosion were fabulous. I still haven't heard them on record...I'm afraid to....I doubt it could match what I saw last fall. These guys are great. You should all go see 'em if you get a chance.
