Hi Mary,

I was happy to see your post on that voyforum, at least to know I am not alone. I am 25 now and married into a super-patriarchal family that believes in keeping the wives in line. My parents spanked me (but not my brothers past 11 or 12) until I got married at 20 and they still do if I misbehave when they are around. My husband also spanks me, but that hard. When I deserve real punishment, like I just got, he sends me to his mother (FIL died six months ago) and she deals with me in her living room in front of whoever is around. Because it was such a serious offense this time, everyone was invited--two brothers-in-law and their wives, even an aunt and cousin of 20.
