Cancelado el Miss Intercontinental en Jordanía.

Autoridades del Gobierno de Jordanía, decidieron cancelar el concurso que se reaizaría el próximo 25 de octubre, en Tala bay, Aqaba. Esto debido a la amenaza que representa para las misses, la presencia cercana de terroristas de ISIS.

Sin embargo, el Ministro de Turismo de ese país ha dejado claro en la misiva de cancelación de fecha, que el Gobierno de Jordanía está en la mejor disponibilidad de realizar el certamen en diferente fecha y lugar, en espera de que los conflictos politicos en el area disminuyan o terminen, en lo que falta de este año.

Desconocemos si la Organización Miss Intercontinental, eligirá otra ciudad sede fuera de Jordanía, como solución de última hora.

El MISS INTERCONTINENTAL nació en Aruba, en 1973, y desde 2001, ha venido efectuándose ininterrumpidamente.

Sirey Morán es la designada a representar Honduras en la justa de belleza, que ahora por conflictos politicos, está en peligro de no efectuarse.

Due to the current unforeseen political circumstances in the region in general and particularly in Jordan, and taking into serious consideration the fact that the local authorities have announced and adopted strict precautionary measures to secure safety and security on a national level.

In addition, the majority of embassies in Jordan have informed their citizens with strict instructions to take the highest level of precautions and measures to secure safety. Nevertheless the Jordanian authorities are still interested in holding the Miss Intercontinental pageant however, at a different date when security of the contestants and the attendees can be guaranteed; therefore, we find ourselves obligated to postpone it to another date to be agreed upon between WBO and JPTD and approved by the Jordanian authorities.

Bueno, yo lo que veo es que el año ya se fue, practicamente quedan dos meses y no creo que lo vayan a efectuar en otra ciudad ni de Jordania, ni de ningun otro lado en el mundo, asi que que pena por Sirey porque se nota su preparacion y su entrega. -- Gerson, Saturday, October 04, 04:54:02pm
