India es Miss Supranational 2014

Honduras no estuvo representada pues la chica designada para ese honroso papel: Miss El Progreso, Charlott Diaz, sufrió una lesión severa en su pierna, cuando formaba parte de un peligroso show cirquense que se transmite en vivo en un canal local de la costa norte, un par de semanas antes de su compromiso en Polonia.

Asha Bhat de la India es la ganadora del Miss Supranational '14 realizado en Polonia , primera finalista: Tailandia (Parapadsorn Disdamrong); segunda: Miss Gabón (Maggaly Nguema); tercera finalista: USA (Allyn Rose); cuarta finalista: Polonia (Katarzyna Krzeszowska).

RESULTADOS

Ganadora: India – Asha Bhat
Finalistas: Tailandia, Gabon, USA, Polonia.
Top 10: Rep. Checa, España, Colombia, Myanmar, Puerto Rico.
Top 20 Argentina, Australia, Bielorrusia, Chile, Filipinas, Canada, Rumania, Suecia, Trinidad y Tobago.

The victory of Asha Bhat affirms the fact that the Miss Diva contest – part of the larger Femina Miss India Pageant – is indeed very promising. Asha Bhat was 2nd Runner-up to Noyonitah Lodh, who will represent India at Miss Universe this coming January. This could also be a pivotal point for the country by turning around the series of misfortunes and eventually end the 2014 campaign with a bang. Well, spoiler alert – Koyal Rana and Lodh are touted as front-runners at Miss World and Miss Universe respectively.
