Suitability of Teachers -- Concerned (Extremely concerned), 15:02:11 06/21/09 Sun [27]
I wish to express my deep concern regarding the suitability and character of teachers and how Commission pass their candidates.Whilst teachers are entitled to a private life and how they choose tolive their private lives is their businessbut when it comes to the use drugs and their position of supervising chidren and setting an example to our children there needs to be clear policing by Commision. There are two young teachers in our area that have known to both use drugs and I am astounded to think that a)parents will send their chidren to them and b. Why is there no vetting in place before issuing certificates to teach our children. Can the midland council not act in this instance? It is a disgrace

It's a shame that there were no competitors certificates at the Worlds this year. We have been lucky to get to the Worlds twice before and dd has the certificates framed on her bedroom wall. We did get a pin this year but it's not as personal as a certificate with your name on it. Does anyone else miss the certificate? Hope they are back next year.

- You know what, even though we give dancing almost every penny we have, if there was an issue with the cost of printing up 6,000 certificates which would have been considerable. I would seriously have paid money to have one printed on the spot with dd's name on it. If they can to the shirts on the spot surely they can have a printer set up and only print on demand so there are no leftovers. Even if they only sold 1,000 that would be $5,000 at $5 each for clrg.
