Pardon the extra questions, but I never understood the "two stage" spanking. Did your dad announce part two and did you gat a chance to object. Secondly, how many swats with hand and brush, and were you already crying with the hand spanking. I do remember hearing about a spanking which ended with the parent saying, "now you're getting some with the strap," but I think it was cause mom hadn't produced enough a reaction with her hand to satisfy her.
