Penis punishment came up on another forum recently (I think it was curry powder being used) - I'm not a mother of any boys so I don't "know" about this, but it sounds like a strong punishment that leaves a lasting impression without leaving any major physical damage, so I have to give it my blessing.
Ginger powder up the butt - I experimented with that a year or two ago, but...anal leakage is ass-ociated with constipation. So I think it's important to simultaneously punish and empty out the remaining dooh-dooh. Powdered ginger doesn't have a laxative effect [except maybe if you roll a piece of glycerin soap through it and end up with a very slightly ginger-enhanced homemade suppository).
