When I was growing up (I'm not sure how common it was in Japan where I was born and raised), I got spanked frequently. Admittedly I deserved it most of the time. When I was 15, I got into a fight with another girl at school, and my father was not happy, and it just so happened that that was the day he found out I was failing one of my classes. This warranted a very severe punishment. He made me strip naked (this was always the case for spankings, but there were never any sexual undertones from what I could tell). This was the first time I'd had to strip to the point of nudity for a spanking (though they were usually bare bottomed), so I was obviously confused and embarrassed.
He then told me to lay down on my bed on my back, lift my legs up, and spread them apart. He took the belt he normally used for spanking me, and whipped me on my bare vagina. I don't know how many times he did it, but it felt like it lasted forever, and the pain was so much worse than the usual whipping I got on my bottom.
