Subject: H.Burgess, Burlsem compote, comport

Hello everyone! I am seeking any info about a Pottery by the name of H. Burgess in Burslem, Ohio I believe. I have a large compote\comport. It looks like it is a white-ish gray color and has no decals of any kind. It has some raised shapes inside the flattish type bowl but I can't make out what they would be. There are four designs. They are set up so that the ones identical twin is situated directly across the bowl from it. Two of the designs are longer than the other two. They look like they might be flowers but I really can't say for sure. The base is stamped inside with something that looks like it might be a shield with a lion standing to the left and a unicorn standing on the right. The shield has a small crown above it. There is a banner underneath that and it is pooled around the animals feet to either side and in the middle it says something like, "DIEU E then something I can't make out, then M and then another letter I can't make out, then N, then eithor an O or D then R, then either an O or C, then IT. Under this it reads STONE CHINA and then under that it reads H. BURGESS, BURSLEM. Please tell me there is someone out there who knows something about this piece. It sort of looks like a fruit stand or bowl. or what a pedestal type cake plate would look like if it had the edges of the plate raised gracefully up. It measures approximately 4-1/2 inches high and the plate\bowl part measures approx. 9 inches in diameter and the base of the pedestal measures approx. 4-1/2 inches in diameter. The backstamp mark is in black. It has quite a lot of crazing?, the little cracks that run all over the piece. I would supremely appreciate some enlightenment as to what it is, when it was made and approximate moneary value, if any. It has one chip in underside of plate at rim but doesn't come all the way to the top. Thanks a lot, hoping someone will answer is the only thing keeping me sane right now.
