Your piece is definately White Ironstone and made in England not Ohio by Henry Burgess 1850-1891. I can send you some photos that are in my White Ironstone book if you send me your email address. I do not know the design from your description, so if you can send me a photo, maybe I can look in my book to see what it might be. The pattern/name is usually the shape of the item and not the decoration/flower. My email is fmm@frontiernet.net.
