Subject: Extending a hand of friendship and support

My story of being feminized by my (late) mother is different from what most posters have written about their sons. From the age of 6 i knew i wanted to be a girl. So, I began asking questions such as 'why can't I wear dresses, mommy?' and, 'why can't I be like you, mommy?' Of course we all know that little children are so inquisitive but I think what caused my mother's concern was my persistence of wanting to be a girl.
I started my questioning at six years old. Even then I felt closer to my mother than anyone else. At that young age I wondered what it would be like to dress like mommy. My mother's first reactions to my usual, yet unusual questions were typical, 'you are a boy, and boys don't wear dresses'. However, that didn't stop me from continuing to ask questions. This went on and on, on and on until a few weeks before my 8th birthday.
One afternoon a few weeks before my eighth birthday my mother surprised me by putting a pair of her knee-hi stockings under my pants. She did this because she was taking me to a shoe store where I was fitted for my first pair of heels.
The real surprise came on the morning of my eighth birthday. It was on that morning I began to be feminized. In short, mother dressed me in a light blue party dress, sheer white stockings and my new white heels. I was taken out and had my ears pierced and we went somewhere for lunch.
Today i am 51 years old. Through the years I have lived on both sides of the gender spectrum and for the past nine or ten years I have been living full-time as a female. I underwent female hormone therapy and am planning on living the rest of my life as a feminine woman.
I've had many experiences through the years while my mother feminized me and molded me into the woman I am today. I should add that I am also physically challenged with Cerebral Palsy and have been since birth.
It is my sincere desire to offer support and extend a hand of friendship to those who are actively feminizing their boys. I think my experiences and ideas can benefit people who are training their "new daughters".
Hope to hear from you soon!
