Where do I start? hhhmmm Bullet format sounds right for this post.
New car looks... LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!! To see a Mustang and Challenger look like a Mustang and Challenger (at least from the front) got me excited again.
New car looks... Where was Chevy's Camaro? IMO, Chevy Blew it, blew it, blew it!!!. The Impala is a famliy truckster, not a racecar. Even the Impala SS is a joke (no offense if anyone owns one) compared to other real life sports sedans available.
NASCAR... You're getting better! Fewer phantom cautions, letting the racers drive their cares, and the double file restarts are all steps at winning me back. Keep it up and I might start spending again.
Last nights race... I found the lack of "pack racing" refreshing. There was no "big one" and I was happy to see that. Noone lost a good drive due to someone elses stupidity. Also, the faster cars ran up front and raced for the win.
Little E... Not a fan, but last night I found myself grinning at the sight of the #3 yellow and blue Wrangler car on the track. With Little E behind the wheel and winning the race it was kinda special (once).
And finally... Micheal Annett in the #15, IMO, he saw the leaders goin into the pits and was either told to pit with them or decided to pit with them and lost control of his car. Again, just my opinion, but it sure looked like that's what he was thinking from the replays.
I can't wait for all the Nationwide races to race this new car. I think NASCAR may have missed a special oppertunity by not introducing this car in the Cup series rather than the Nationwide series. Again, just my opinion, but the truck series puts on the best races, but with these new cars, the Nationwide series racing might get a lot better. The COT has made the racing better in Cup (IMO) and they have the big names, but all the cars look the same and too many tracks are clones of each other. Until that changes I'll stick to watching Fridays and Saturdays and recording on Sundays.
There, that should make up for not posting in months. :)
