Right now NASCAR is a sinking ship. To take the creativity away from the teams and manufacturers is dead wrong. I hate spec series racing and that is what this has become. And this is what the IRL has become. Dominated by the few, but populated by a few more that would like to be able to compete and they can't. The fans are turning away in droves and finding other activities to occupy their time and entertainment $$$'s.
