My '76 was maroon in color. I believe that I saw about 118 mph also out of it. One weak point on both Capris that I owned was the shift lever. They were easy to break and I broke them more than once. We cleaned out the converters on the V-6 and put loud mufflers on the car with less back pressure. LOL. Sure did make some noise with it then.
