Subject: sickleave and winter vacation

Hello everyone,
writing this while wind is howling outside, second large winter storm hits us right now. nothing too serious I hope, last time we had some power outs.
I´m on sickleave right now, til 14th of December then my two week winter holiday of 2011 starts and also some extra hours there to use.
I am waiting to get my call to vascular surgeon, he will do the first part of the oncoming dialysis treatment, they will put a tube system to my arm where the dialysis machine is connected when the treatments will begin.
It will be somewhere in the early 2012.
then I will be on the line for waiting a one working kidney, they will have to remove at least one kidney away first since my body is already badly swollen since these bad kidneys have filled my stomach. at this moment I am going through maybe the worst part of this disease, my kidneys work barely anymore and I am feeling sick all the time. and the pain is constant friend of mine.
but anyway, no need to be sorry, it is just part of my life and I can deal with it. I am on the learning curve to appreciate life in general more and more just by understanding it more and more. when all high speed emotions and things in life are cut away you have more time to think and consider things. which is just fine by me. I am thankful for my life and my family, I feel very blessed to be around. In case I am not able to write too much before the Christmas, I wish you all the best things in life and Merry Christmas! (now I have to go to sofa and rest a while, my back has been hurting for more than week now, spasms. nice ;)
