Subject: My early birthday present from my sisters was a trip to Daytona for Preseason Thunder!

What a wonderful two days!! Daytona Beach is beautiful! We stayed at a condo that is at the north end of the part of the beach where you can drive up to the ocean and the view was wonderful.

BEST view was of the 24 car going in and out of the garage and of Jeff Gordon when he walked to and from the 24 garage. I took over 2000 pictures and have weeded them down to about 1700 so far. When I get a reasonable number...what the heck is a reasonable number of pictures from my favorite sport??....I'll post the link. I did get some good pictures. One of my favorites is a closeup of Dale, Jr's driving gloves. He was wearing the skeleten gloves and I had fun trying to get a good shot of them as he went in and out of the garage.

There was a fan session with drivers on the stage answering questions Thursday and Friday after the autograph sessions. Saw JG, Jr, Matt Kenseth, Marcos Ambrose, JJ....several others. All were fun to watch and got some good laughs.
