• Tonights race at Kennedale -- Cindi, 07/ 3/09 15:05 [1]
  There are two classes - 4.65 and 5.0. There must be a minimum of 4 cars in the 4.65 class to run. The payout is based on the number of cars that ran the class.
  
  If you run in the 5.0 class you cannot run faster than 5.0 or you are out.
  
  If you run in the 5.0 class and run faster than 4.959 you will have to run in the 4 second class going forward.
  
  Bye Runs - the first pull from each class has the option of the bye run IF THERE IS an uneven amount of cars that round. Only one bye run per race. Competion bye is not the same as a bye. Competition bye is when you are paired and your competition breaks.
  
  I hope you guys will continue to support these classes just as Kennedale supports the racers. I increased the total payout to give both classes a chance to run for money and have fun. I hope you will support those that support you.

  I've been reading post for years and both sides make very good arguments now both sides must find a common ground and start making changes . Fact 1. Koth car counts are hurting the 10.5 class is making changes to keep a car count and bring back fans the pioneers of the KOTH are all but gone because going fast in heavy cars cost big money. Fact 2. This class was started with cars as run what you brung with a mixture of cars both chassiss and backhalf but changing to backhalf made more since and brought a great car count running low 5's and high 4's which my guess is still the majority of racers. There are many racers that don't race because they feel they can't run and be competative anymore with cars getting quicker .Fact 3. As fun as racing is running a car is expensive and wasting money you pay for fuel ,NOS,repair and parts and thats before you get to the track.We must be crazy to do this anyway but we love it.Car owners want respect and deserve it . So with all that said this class great potential for racers not trying to break the bank or the sound barrier let's get a group of racers togather that represent the majority and work out the problems get more cars out have some fun and maybe stop some of the bitching notice i said some hahahah!!!!   • I agree with you I believe the cap is a little low when the majority of the cars run 4.9x and slower why not set the cap a that without it it lets the super fast cars come and dominate the class as far as actually winning the race goes sure slower cars will make some rounds but very rarly will one win the race. You can only run a Automatic in TBHO and most people run BRunos, Lencos, and Libertys In Outlaw 10.5 (In which some of you refer as KOTH) The backhalfs rule apply the same in both organizations no chassis cars allowed, stock firewall and etc. Its funny how the guys with the big tire cars complain about the guys on the Outlaw 10.5 tires and now you Limited Street cars with less tire running 4.90s and faster with even less traction. Fact of the matter is L/S and KOTH have weight restrictions so the TBHO guys should take advantage and there should be more people tightening up their programs whether it is low budget or high dollar to get their car as consistant as they can rather than complaining. I gave him the concept of racers calling each other out and featured match races with good old fashion trash talking from drivers and fans . The videos would be avalibale to purchase trackside and online .   • Thats not true, Bubba jackson has the 5.0 class and is helping out wiring the tower at crandall, There is a Pro Mod race out the friday night and they simpley asked how to get more cars down the track and with bubba there the 5.0 class came up, I spoke with gaylen the other day and believe me he has been working on the TBHO class to keep it going, he was looking for sponsors yesterday to have TBHO class out there as well (NT) -- racer, 05/13/09 10:27
