I've been reading post for years and both sides make very good arguments now both sides must find a common ground and start making changes . Fact 1. Koth car counts are hurting the 10.5 class is making changes to keep a car count and bring back fans the pioneers of the KOTH are all but gone because going fast in heavy cars cost big money. Fact 2. This class was started with cars as run what you brung with a mixture of cars both chassiss and backhalf but changing to backhalf made more since and brought a great car count running low 5's and high 4's which my guess is still the majority of racers. There are many racers that don't race because they feel they can't run and be competative anymore with cars getting quicker .Fact 3. As fun as racing is running a car is expensive and wasting money you pay for fuel ,NOS,repair and parts and thats before you get to the track.We must be crazy to do this anyway but we love it.Car owners want respect and deserve it . So with all that said this class great potential for racers not trying to break the bank or the sound barrier let's get a group of racers togather that represent the majority and work out the problems get more cars out have some fun and maybe stop some of the bitching notice i said some hahahah!!!! And if you have nothing good to say about this post go right ahead.

I agree with you I believe the cap is a little low when the majority of the cars run 4.9x and slower why not set the cap a that without it it lets the super fast cars come and dominate the class as far as actually winning the race goes sure slower cars will make some rounds but very rarly will one win the race. Why not break the class into two. Have one show for the 5.30 and lower run each other and then the other a 5.30 up so everyone can have some fun with it all?
