The earliest one I can remember was from about age four as well. I think I had an ear infection too. My whole family took me to the doctor's office, and came in to the room with me when I was called. The nurse told me to get up on the table. Once there, she told me to pull down my pants and lie down on my tummy. I didn't quite understand what she had in mind, so I only pulled down my pants (gray corduroys) and turned over onto my tummy. The nurse came back in shaking down a thermometer. She seemed a little irritated that I hadn't pulled down my underpants as well, because she stuck her hand inside the back of my waistband and yanked them down. She then quickly pushed my buns apart, slid in the thermometer, and walked back out of the room. I remember looking around the room at my parents, who seemed to have somewhat blank looks on their faces; my brother was sitting on the floor, reading a book, paying no real attention.
